Natural Gas Aggregation Program

In 2025, the City of New Philadelphia selected Eastern Power & Gas (Eastern PNG) as the preferred supplier for its natural gas aggregation program. This program offered a fixed rate of $3.99 per Mcf for a span of 12 months, beginning in March 2025 (April 2025 billing) through February 2026 (March 2026 billing).

Aggregation Updates

Due to changed conditions, The City of New Philadelphia and Eastern PNG reached an agreement to amend the aggregation program effective April 2025 (May 2025 billing). The end of the program term has been changed to March 2026 (April 2026 billing). Furthermore, for the remainder of the program term, the natural gas price will be pegged to the Enbridge (formerly Dominion East Ohio) Standard Choice Offer price and will provide a guaranteed discount of $0.05 per Mcf off of the Standard Choice Offer monthly rate. This rate is exclusive of all applicable state and local taxes. There are no switching fees or early termination fees. There are no credit or deposit requirements.

If you want to opt out of the program, you may contact Eastern PNG at any time without any early termination fee. The City of New Philadelphia will strive to return to a fixed rate program as market conditions allow.
