New Philadelphia Offers Visitors Many Experiences and Activities

We like to think of ourselves as an amazing community, full of rich history and plenty of attractions and events for our visitors and residents alike.

Our downtown area is reminiscent of a Main Street straight out of Americana with the public square being anchored by the Tuscarawas County Courthouse. Original buildings serve as home to locally owned businesses and shops, reflective of our pride in remembering the past while continuing to move forward.

Tuscora Park is also a central highlight of our city, featuring many of its original stone-work infrastructure, including gates, paths, and retaining walls. Residents and visitors alike enjoy the vintage carousel and ferris wheel, and as well as many of its more modern features like a miniature golf course, batting cages, bocce, basketball and tennis courts. The Tuscora Park Amphitheater is host to many town events throughout the year.

Whether you like the great outdoors, nightlife, or the performing arts, there’s something for everyone in our city and surrounding area.
